Dr Dreyer is one of the leading entrepreneurs and property investors in South Africa. One of South Africa’s most successful financial planners for over 20 years and having built up a sizeable passive income through various businesses and properties, he retired at the tender age of 37, deciding that he no longer wanted to be a highly paid slave.
After 4 years of retirement and with boredom beginning to set in, his wife persuaded him to follow his passion and teach other people about the principles of wealth creation. He was amazed at peoples negative perceptions, their very limited knowledge of how to create, invest and preserve wealth and most importantly their reliance on the corporate financial institutions to look after their financial futures.
Over a year ago one of his students challenged him, saying that “it takes money to make money!” And so Hannes set himself a challenge: with less than £100 he would turn it into £1 million within 5 years and give £100,000 to charity. He started with just 8p and is currently in week 66 of his challenge, which is now worth (cash) £160,000. He has also already donated over £70,000 to the Pretoria School of Cerebral Palsy. The whole project is being properly audited and is also available on the internet for people to follow his progress on a weekly basis, to see how he is doing and learn from his experiences.
